Taking conservation issues into their own hands, this group is the new authority on local biota. Undermining provincial and federal officials, they have successfully relocated the majority of regional flora and fauna (and fungi) to a new realm of existence. Contrary to state-funded inference, the transplanted life forms are flourishing. New mutations are giving rise to superior phenotypes. Unfortunately, we didn’t cover our tracks… Nobility will descend, turn a collective blind eye to our “illegitimate” culture, and move onto the cheap real estate with their crappy offspring in tow. They will eat the new organisms. They will tear down the transplants and erect their own places of worship. They will destroy our circle of life. Will it go well for them in the end? No, it will not. A less-romantic Sooyoung Park agrees.

Prenant les enjeux de protection de l’environnement en main, ce groupe est la nouvelle autorité en biotes locaux. Sans se soucier des officiels provinciaux et fédéraux, ses membres ont relocalisé avec succès la majorité de la flore et de la faune (et des champignons) régionaux dans un nouveau royaume d’existence. Contrairement aux conclusions financées par l’état, les organismes transplantés s’épanouissent. De nouvelles mutations font apparaître des phénotypes supérieurs. Malheureusement, nous n’avons pas effacé nos traces… La noblesse nous assaillera, fermera un oeil collectif sur notre culture « illégitime », et déménagera vers l’immobilier bon marché avec sa médiocre progéniture dans les jupons. Elle dévorera les nouveaux organismes. Elle démolira les greffes et érigera ses propres lieux de dévotion. Elle détruira notre cercle de vie. Tout se passera-t-il bien pour elle en bout de ligne? Non. Un Sooyoung Park moins romantique acquiesce.
