Madam Raz features Paul Saulnier (bass) and Benjamin Nelson (drums) of PS I Love You, a band which has certainly hit the stratosphere in the last year or so, and thus providing heavyweight status right from the drop. The pair do not disappoint on the debut Madam Raz EP with a pounding, relentless groove throughout the seven songs of this cassette. However, it’s the pairing of vocalist Amanda Balsys and vocal/guitar shredder Carlyn Bezic that really put this band over the top; the combination of New Wave emoting and deft harmonization that give Madam Raz a unique opportunity to get people fired up. Madame Raz présente Paul Saulnier (basse) et Benjamin Nelson (batteries) de PS I Love You, un groupe qui a certainement atteint la stratosphère dans la dernière année ou à peu près et ainsi fournissant un statut poids lourds directement du ravin. La paire ne déçoit pas sur les débuts EP de Madam Raz avec une cognante cadence incessante tout au long des sept chansons de cette cassette. Cependant, c’est le jumelage de la chanteuse Amanda Balsys et de la chanteuse/ déchiqueteuse de guitare Carlyn Bezic qui place vraiment le groupe au sommet; la combinaison des gestes d’émotion de New Wave et d’harmonisation qui donnent à Madam Raz une opportunité unique de démarrer les gens. Si vous ne saurez dire, je suis vraiment excité à propos de ce groupe. C’est un attrapage de vie ou de mort d’urgence.
