A few notorious and sought-after singles were released on Bumstead out of Edmonton in the years 1980-1982. Rock and Roll Bitches, The Modern Minds, and K.D. Lang’s first single. The rumor is that the label owner had a deal where bands paid a flat-rate and got a recording and a 7″. Most 7″s put out by Bumstead came in over-sized 7″ sleeves.
